Fenstermann developed the first child and pet safe bottom-up top-down window treatment to prevent bodily harm or worse to your young kids and pets. Our tension-corded blinds and shades have no free hanging strings or cords or chains that could cause an injury. Furthermore, we do have two tension strings on the sides that are enclosed in our aluminum rails and are out of reach for your kids. The endcaps of the rail have integrated mounting bases that do not need tools for the installation. The rails can be installed via screws into wood trim or wall, or you opt for adhesive glue strips to install the rails to your aluminum window or any glass.

Our goal is to prevent child and pet injuries and make this world a little bit safer for the little ones. It is also our goal to have an affordable child safe blinds or shade and therefore it is sold at the same price as our standard adhesive glue strip blinds and shades.
